HawkEye 360 is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Legal team.

As the Contracts Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Build and mature HawkEye's business processes and operations to scale and improve contracts functions as we tenaciously pursue scale and growth of the company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to design systems that promote efficiency and integration over stove-piping and serve overall business needs over single departments.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional team effort to maximize successful outcomes and awards on HawkEye proposal submissions to US and foreign government RFIs, RFQs and RFPs. Route and track proposal development activities, executive reviews and approvals, finalization and official submission.
  • Contribute to HawkEye compliance with the FAR and all applicable procurement laws, record FAR compliance clauses and audit compliance, and promote a company culture of compliance. Build and mature compliance processes, and forecast future compliance needs based on company future business initiatives.
  • Perform cradle to grave administration of contracts with U.S. government, foreign government, and commercial customers, and subcontracts administration (HawkEye as subcontractor, and of HawkEye's subcontractors)
  • Independently negotiate and close routine business agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Consulting Agreements, and related amendments.
  • Independently process routine changes to government agreements such as Contract Modifications, Engineering Change Proposals, SBIRs, and Other-Transaction-Authority based agreements.
  • Independently process routine End User Licensing Agreements (EULAs) and uplift agreements.
  • Maintain corporate registrations (SAM, D&B, etc.)
  • Perform contracts/legal process training for new employees
  • Prepare contract summaries, identifying deviations from standard guidance or areas of contractual risk, brief leadership, track and report contract status from draft to expiration.


Your skills and qualifications:

Essential education and experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience administering federal and commercial contracts with an emphasis in communications with counterparties and leadership
  • Good working knowledge of FAR/DFAR contract types (CP, FFP, T&M)
  • Ability to resolve contractual issues and recommend business solutions to management
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced start up environment while managing competing priorities
  • Desire to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with ITAR, EAR
  • Experience with Foreign Military Financing, Foreign Military Sales, and Defense Security Cooperation Agency programs
  • NCMA credential (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, CCMA)
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Top Secret clearance


Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
