At New Honor Society, interns are given hands-on experience and can be called upon to help with any and every part of the team's day-to-day activities-from planning to completion. We want someone who jumps right in and thinks an accomplishment isn't an accomplishment unless it is done on time and accurately. We want idea people. We want folks who challenge the status quo. Interns should be prepared to work in an in-person environment at the agency for 8 weeks over the summer, June 2-July 25.

Description:

At NHS, the Strategic Planning intern works alongside other strategists to gather competitive intelligence, analyze consumer trends, uncover insights and ultimately inspire the creative process.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with team to understand consumer issues, leverage insights, write briefs and conduct briefings on at least one brand
  • Support team to identify optimal messaging context for brand, target and market and work with appropriate teams to implement the phases of strategy
  • Conduct online and one-on-one consumer research
  • Synthesize research learning to drive insight generation and inform creative development
  • Proactively assist in serving as a resource for creative ideas on brand and consumer issues
  • Work with manager and team to build, manage and communicate branding for a product


Strategic Planner Intern Requirements:



  • 0+ years of relevant experience


  • Specialized skillset/experience in research and data analysis

  • Courageous; not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Strong communication skills; storytelling a big plus
  • Has ideas, shares ideas, not afraid to fail forward

  • Learning, observing, questioning, pondering...and taking notes
