Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder III. The Pressure Vessel Welder III will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. . This role is located in Delaware, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $30.00

Schedule: 1st shift 7:00am to 4:30pm

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly



Responsibilities

Pressure Vessel Welder III Responsibilities:

    Following the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
  1. Execute welds in accordance with company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
  2. Propose new methods, procedures or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.
  3. Prepare fixtures and other specialized tools to streamline production and improve efficiency.
  4. Cooperate with engineering and technical departments to finalize processes and procedures to industrialize products.
  5. Train and assist less experienced welders to foster their growth and ensure quality.
  6. Identify and implement safety improvements.

Pressure Vessel Welder III Qualifications:

  1. At least 5 years' experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified experience).
  2. Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard.
  3. Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings, and teach others to do so.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fitting and welding components.
  5. Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  6. Methodical, organized, and precise.
  7. Proactive in proposing solutions.
