The Senior Scheduler prepares, maintains, and analyzes Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to meet program objectives


Responsibilities

*Generates schedules, disseminates schedule data to the program team, aids in driving the planning process to ensure program schedules accurately reflect how the work is accomplished; and provides performance updates and related data in a format that will aid the team in making sound decisions
*Develops and maintains integrated project schedules to support the execution of the program; ensuring projects are tracked consistently through the life cycle of the program and delivered on time
*Regularly statuses schedules that are currently in execution; works with functional leads and control account managers to obtain accurate schedule and performance data
*Performs schedule risk and critical path analysis as required and assists in resolving critical path and schedule
logic conflicts
*Generates reports for management to include presentation material that can include, but is not limited to, Gantt; PERT; Critical Path; earned value management (EVM) metrics, and related schedule performance data
*Assists the program manager in assessing schedule performance and identifies and facilitates resolution or mitigation planning for critical schedule risks and issues
*Ensures compliance with contractual deliveries as dictated by data item description (DID) and contract data requirements list (CDRL) or similar customer requirements


Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) Business, Engineering, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant project planning and scheduling experience; or 10-12 years of project planning and scheduling experience without a degree
*Experience in Accounting, Finance, Program Management or Program Planning & Scheduling
departments, preferably in the defense industry sector
*Experience with Microsoft Office suite and specifically Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel

*Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project) and Enterprise Resource Planning (i.e. Costpoint) data integration
*PMI scheduling or project management professional (PMI-PMP)(PMI-SP)
*Active DoD issued Secret Clearance

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have:
*Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work well with program managers, engineers, functional leads, and senior leadership
*Ability to identify critical data aspects of project schedules and present resolution options to management
*A sharp eye for detail and be a quick learner
