INTERN, JOURNAL PRODUCTION

What you'll do.

As a Journal Production Intern, you'll dive into the world of academic publishing by assisting with projects that elevate both print and digital journal content. You'll update materials on journal websites, support the production process, and help bring scholarly work to life. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a solid understanding of both print and online journal production while gaining hands-on experience in the world of academic publishing.

What we look for.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must be enrolled in an educational institution pursuing fulfillment of a degree
• Working toward a degree in biological science, publishing, editing, English, or related field is required

Experience:

• Work (or course work) experience in editing, proofreading, or grammar is required.

Additional Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Competence in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, web searching, and social media is required

Travel Requirements: No travel required.

Location: Minneapolis, MN, and MN and is identified as primarily remote (ability to work remotely, but required to work in the office as needed or requested)

Schedule: Rarely beyond standard work schedule required
