Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations. Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineering Manager for the Weapons & Navigation Systems (WNS) Business Segment of the Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) Business Area which is under the Land & Air Systems (L&AS) Line of Business (LoB). The successful candidate will be a member of the AES Leadership Team, and report directly to the Director of Engineering for AES. You will have responsibility for the 70 plus employee engineering team and will be fully accountable for engineering execution within the Business Segment. You will be responsible for enhancing the performance, strategy and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. Target salary range: USD $198,433.00/Yr. - USD $199,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
