Launch your career at JLL! This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in business operations &/or facilities management. You will work as part of an integrated facilities management team at multi-million sq ft world headquarters for a JLL client.

Title: Business Services Ambassador (This is a floater position)

Location: North Austin / Round Rock, TX
Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Reporting To: Lead Business Services Coordinator

What this job involves:

The Business Services Ambassador will provide administrative, receptionist and concierge support duties in accordance with JLL policies & procedures. This client facing role provides the opportunity to combine your passion for service, brilliant people skills and enthusiasm for creating a hospitality focused workplace environment. This hire will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experience every day through enhanced engagement, proactive communication, and high touch service within an assigned location or select portfolio of properties.They will perform duties with integrity and diligence in a professional manner and will assist in achieving Key Performance Indicators and operational targets for the site. The primary goal is to positively impact the care and comfort of the clients, employees, and visitors. They will strive to build and develop relationships with customers. Ambassadors solicit customer feedback leaving the customer with the feeling that they are personally being cared for.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Greeting clients, internal and external, and making them feel welcomed.
  • Following client security policies.
  • Good communication and rapport between coworkers.
  • Serve as an onsite Experience Services contact for client employee inquiries, issues, troubleshooting, and feedback related to the services within the workplace, with the primary goal of positively impacting the care and comfort of client employees and guests
  • Greet/host/provide support for guests and employees.
  • Issues badges to visitors and assist employees if they forget their badge
  • Ensure corporate policies/procedures are followed
  • Empowered to make operational adjustments as necessary, develops and documents standard operating procedures and updates playbook accordingly
  • Identify potential risks and escalate, as appropriate, to ensure no privacy breech, security incident or disruption to client's operations occur
  • Provide operational excellence through administrative support as well as work order management
  • Ensure services are executed in a manner consistent with the SLA's, standard processes, professional brand image and compliant with applicable local laws, rules, and regulations
  • Builds meaningful lasting relationships with client employees and guests for intuitive service delivery, anticipating needs or concerns to exceed client expectations
  • Visibly engaged and well known in the workplace
  • Point of contact for all packages/deliveries
  • Respond and follow through to requests for information and communicate with all levels of management with minimal supervision
  • Responsible for effectively communicating to peers and cross functional customer on a regular basis
  • Achieve and exceeds goals including performance goals, team goals and client's goals and objectives
  • Resolve problems associated with all building services including janitorial, parking, badging, and conference rooms. Submit Work Order when required
  • Provides operational support through varied informational processing activities that supports a specific business need
  • Perform duties with integrity and diligence in a professional manner and will assist in achieving Key Performance Indicators and operational targets for the site
  • Cover lunches and breaks for seated BSC's. This position will apply to our Parmer and Round Rock campus and will change for the needs of the business. For this reason reliable transportation is required.
  • Cover lobby desk when seated BSC is out
  • Same responsibility as the "Front Desk Duties." Between lunch and break coverage work on tasks as they are assigned. This could include walking the building to do routine safety/maintenance inspections, working on Excel spreadsheets, online trainings, and other assignments that may be requested by the client.
  • Pick up desk/badging supplies for the seated BSC's as needed.
Required experience and skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of proven corporate office environment work experience in a related field such as hospitality, administration, facility/property management, business operations in a client facing role
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and process management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally
  • Ability to work with diverse teams - lead by example; respectful, cooperative, accountable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new devices, technology, and applications
Preferred experience and skills:
  • Military service or higher education in a related field such as business, hospitality, property management is desirable
  • Prior work experience within the commercial facility/property management industry is desirable
  • Experience working within a large corporate real estate headquarters is desirable
