An exciting opportunity has arisenfor aFinance Manager in Civil Aerospace.As the Financial Manager you will work as part of the finance team supporting Civil Mature Engine Services as well as other Civil North American interests, and be located in Indianapolis, IN. This is a key role that interacts with all levels of the business on a daily basis. You will be accountable for financial management of long-term contracts and business evaluations in order to maximize cash and profitability for Civil Mature Engines. In this role, you will travel domestically up to 10%.

Key Accountabilities:

• Financial evaluation of new services or modification of existing services
• Partner with and constructively challenge the business teams to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks to the financial budgets, plans, and forecasts
• Responsible for the management of the contract accounting profitability calculation for Mature Engines contracts under IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP
• Support the Customers & Services teams in external negotiations
• Manage and coordinate assumptions into financial budget, plans and forecasts
• Maintain financial governance for all Services campaigns and management of existing Services contracts
• Continually improve accuracy and efficiency of financial and business planning processes through the use of relevant process improvement tools and techniques
• Analyze financial results at the end of each AP in accordance with regional and sector timelines, assess key issues and propose journals for corrections as needed

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 5+ years of experience, OR
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 3+ years of experience, OR
• JD/PhD

Preferred Requirements:

• CPA
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Previous experience in preparing budgets/forecasting and long-range forecasting
• SAP and HFM knowledge, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Confidence in dealing with all levels of management
• Ability to lead across cultures and negotiate workable solutions
