We are seeking a dynamic Technical Consultant who excels in delivering end-user value through Industry 4.0 Solutions.

Location: Detroit, MI / Nshville, TN / Atlanta, GA / Rock Hill, SC

In this role, you will:





  • Drive transformational growth for our Data Driven Solutions Product Line, DeMeter, across North America (USA, Mexico, and Canada).



  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in intelligent systems, including AI-driven industrial tools, networking solutions, and data analytics.



  • Collaborate with customer experience and product marketing teams to enhance interactions throughout the customer journey.



  • Develop new sales in focused segments such as the Motor Vehicle Industry, Tiers, and General Industry.



  • Lead transformation within the customer base, focusing on our Industry 4.0 smart connected ecosystem of products, projects, and services to deliver impactful value to end users.



  • Expand business opportunities with our service portfolio, including process control and motion capture solutions.



  • Provide technical support to the sales and projects teams.



  • Offer re-skilling support to enhance software sales and recurring revenue model competencies within the team.



  • Collaborate with the Service team to ensure alignment with customer needs and foster recurring revenue models.



  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.



  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications



  • High level technical proficiency/understanding of various software solutions used in a manufacturing environment, such as PLCs, MESs, and process control solutions.
  • Must be flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels in the organization with a professional and positive manner.
  • Effective capability with Microsoft Office programs with upper Excel and Power BI knowledge.


Experience



  • 2 years' experience in business development and leading sales and marketing teams
  • B2B commercial development in software and recurring revenue models for end user sales growth
  • Implementation of digital and automated marketing initiatives to support the customer journey


Education



  • University degree or equivalent work experience in business development or engineering


Travel




  • Up to or at times exceeding 50% overnight travel throughout North America, including Canada, Mexico, and occasionally other international travel
