ACP has been a pioneer in delivering evidence-based clinical mental health services to adults of all ages in medical settings around the metro area and surrounding areas since 1980. This includes long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living apartments, group homes, board and care residences, and transitional care units. We are currently expanding our team of highly dedicated and experienced professionals. We are looking for passionate mental health therapists (LICSW, LP, PsyD, Ph.D., LMFT) who are committed to providing a holistic integrated health model, which emphasizes the importance of addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our clients.

Our clinical team provides the highest standard of psychological support to people during some of the most difficult times of life. We offer consultation services, diagnostic assessments, and follow-up clinical therapy to address a wide variety of mental health issues as they coexist with individual medical needs and life changes.

At ACP, you'll work alongside Dr. John Brose, Ph.D., LADC, LMFT, Minnesota Gerontologist of the Year in 2020, who received a lifetime achievement award from the American Psychological Association. Dr. Brose was trained by Dr. Albert Ellis, Dr. Aaron Beck, and Dr. Maxie Maultsby and served on the faculty of more than two psychotherapy training institutes.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Providing therapy to clients with a wide variety of mental health needs, including SPMI, substance abuse, complex medical conditions, and/or other mental health disorders.
  • Traveling to various medical and mental healthcare settings to reach clients who would otherwise not be able to access psychological services.
  • Monitor progress toward treatment goals, adjusting as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment.

Starting Pay: $60k - $75k annually. Actual compensation may vary as determined by licensure, education, experience, skillset, FT/PT status, and schedule.
