Overview

Assists in developing, managing, and executing innovative digital marketing communications and campaigns for agents and customers across multiple digital channels including websites, social media platforms, digital advertising, and email. Plays a key role in creating and optimizing content for social media channels, digital advertising campaigns, enhancing website usability, and search engine optimization (SEO) of company-owned websites. Collaborates closely with business clients from across Selective and works with external marketing agency partners to obtain feedback and execute marketing plans that support shared marketing goals, including increasing reach, engagement, and customer retention. Utilizes various digital marketing tools and platforms, such as generative ai, social media, websites and landing pages, email campaigns, digital advertising, and online analytics, to support, refine and execute the marketing strategy. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing agent and consumer-driven marketing strategies and communication plans to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with the company's strategic vision and goals. Proactively helps build and shares multi-channel marketing plans and assets with appropriate stakeholders, including internal audiences and marketing agencies. Ensure all marketing communication strategies enhance Selective's brand position. Utilize multi-channel marketing communication solutions targeted to different audience segments/needs.
  • Utilize measurement processes, testing, and digital marketing best practices to gauge marketing communication success, enhance the responsiveness of different agent and customer groups, and measure return on investment. Utilize primary and secondary business impact measurements and KPI's as critical success factors for benchmarketing and determing success.
  • Coordinate marketing activities between Selective external partner resources, for example Marketing agencies, to execute a digital marketing strategy and supporting tactics to achieve the company's strategic vision and goals.
  • Design, write, and edit marketing communications, including marketing collateral, social media posts and ads, presentations, internet/intranet sites, and other communications. Leverage the use of GenAi tools where possible to ensure clear/precise writing and design, audio-visual elements, thorough/persuasive verbal communications, and simple but high-impact presentations and/or materials.
  • Utilize innovative video, graphic, and internet/intranet solutions to support marketing communication strategies of agents and consumers. Attend company-sponsored events, take photos/videos, and work with company resources for the editing and use of acquired assets for use in marketing communication purposes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with management and internal/external business clients. Work in partnership with Selective teams to ensure consistent messaging to all key audiences.
  • Focus on successfully achieving the strategies and key initiatives at the individual, departmental, and corporate levels. Manage a challenging workload and competing priorities.
  • Manage, execute, and QA required information through company-administrated processes and delivery systems to support the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Leverage the use of Gen AI tools using best practices for the collaboration, coordination, and development of marketing plans and expedite marketing executions in support of company goals.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Requirements

  • Keeps abreast of industry emerging practice and best-in-class marketing communication initiatives and strategies.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the insurance business model.
  • Thorough knowledge of Word and PowerPoint software.
  • Must be creative and proactive and possesses a strong results-driven business orientation in developing and executing marketing communication strategy.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be a good listener.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in the utlization of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint software and GenAI to deliver business results and execution of tasks.

    • Working knowledge and experience preferred of marketing software such as or similar:
      * Social Media Management software (Hootsuite or SproutSocial)
      * Website content editing programs and code bases (HTML & CSS, Dreamweaver, or SiteCore)
      * Creative Assets editing software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Adobe Express)
      * Project Management software (Wrike, SmartSheet, Trello, or Jira).

Education and Experience

  • College degree in marketing or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in marketing creating/developing marketing materials brochures, presentations, and other written, video, or graphic materials.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.


Pay Range

USD $68,000.00 - USD $98,000.00 /Yr.
