Accounts Payable Clerk

PURPOSE:

Assist Accounting department with entering data, vendor reconciliations, 3-way matching, accounts receivable and other duties as needed. Helps with organization and filing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Assists in GL account reconciliations

*Assists in vendor account reconciliations

*3-way matching of vendor invoices with purchase orders

*Maintain Accounting department filing system

*Accounts Receivable duties to include customer invoicing, posting credit card receipts, posting incoming EFTs. Monitors A/R Aging and coordinates with internal departments for collection of invoice payments.

*Other duties as assigned

Required:

*Exceptional organizational skills

*Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

*Accounting experience

*Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

*Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred:

*Bachelor's degree

*1+ years in accounting

*Experience with NetSuite

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

*Office environment

*Ability to sit for extended periods of time
