The Job
We seek personnel to assist with race operations at races within the Northeast Division. The Division has racetracks located in Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. As a member of the Race Operations Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. Your job will be to keep our fans, racers, and crew members safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. Positioned all along the racetrack, assisting with track prep, various areas of the staging lanes, and on the drag strip (ready line, water box, and start line) at race events during the season. These positions require the ability to assist staff or competitors as needed. This entails work which can include long hours (12-14+) outside in extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment.
Some racetrack operations jobs may require driving a commercial vehicle across the country. In this case, a CDL is required and must be registered in the FMCSA D&A Clearing House program.

LOCATION: Racetracks throughout the Northeast Division
FLSA/SALARY: State minimum wage
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A general knowledge of racing is preferred.
  • Must be flexible with meal and rest periods.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under NHRA insurance policy.
  • Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start.
  • Enforce all facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
  • Ability to follow and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Travel is required within the region - Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
