Summary/Primary Purpose: Manage all aspects of Family Services and Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) including Home Visitation, Family Partnerships, Group Socializations, Parent Meetings and Transportation according to Federal Head Start Performance Standards. Coordinate and monitor implementation of the home-based curriculum. Provide supervision to Family Consultants, Community Engagement Coordinator and Van Driver. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Family Consultants, Community Outreach Coordinator, Van Driver Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Family/Human Services or related field required. A Master's Degree in related field preferred. Minimum of two years supervision experience required. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must be able to pass medical examination and Tuberculosis test. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Obtain certification in First Aid, CPR and CPI within 6 months of hire. Complete Parents As Teachers Supervisors Training and Creative Curriculum training (may be online training) within 6 months and ERSEA training within 3 months of hire.
