Responsibilities

As a Modeling & Simulations Technician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Serve as a software application manager in accordance with DTOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Provide annual usage metrics on M&S software applications with recommendations on quantities requirement to meet operational needs.
Assist in developing and executing test plans related to STE interoperability with connected training devices and collaborate with TSSC as required.
Be knowledgeable in the use of DIS troubleshooting tools (e.g.: Wireshark and DIS PDU Analyzer (DPA).
Providing basic level M&S training to all DTOC personnel on annual basis.
Represent DTOC and ANG DMO standards at standard working groups identified by the government.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and two (2) to four (4) years of experience. A combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree.
Functional knowledge of distributed simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA).
Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools
Expert knowledge on use of stimulation software such as NGTS, MACE, VRSG, etc
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $66,100.00/Yr. - USD $139,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
