Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, documenting, reviewing and implementing the maintenance, janitorial duties, repair, safety and security of TURBOCAM buildings and grounds.

Supervisor Specific Responsibilities;

  • Being responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance, repair and overall operation of key equipment and systems. These systems include building fire alarm and suppression systems, heating & cooling systems, cooling towers, septic operations, pump houses, reverse osmosis, dry wells, and other water filtration systems.
  • Actively contributing as a hands-on leader involved in the day-to-day operations of the facilities, that reduce downtime and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Managing and participating in the on-call program. Participating, scheduling and designating staff to respond to incidents and urgent inquires outside of regular work hours.
  • Leading and managing large-scale maintenance and capital projects, coordinating with external vendors and contractors.
  • Collaborating with the EH&S team to maintain compliance with all municipal, state and federal agencies to include testing and permitting of systems.
  • Supervising and managing the maintenance and janitorial team to ensure that all maintenance and janitorial activities are performed efficiently. Provide training and continuous development to enhance skill sets, supporting individual goals to align with the company's values and mission.
  • Performing various tasks from painting, wood working, lock repair, plumbing repair, snow removal and any other building needs. Administration of the buildings, grounds, roofing, and maintenance contracts.
  • Maintaining service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering and electrical servicing to the company's facilities.
  • Monitoring maintenance and repair contracts related to machinery for buildings and building services to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Scheduling and retaining outside services for grounds care, maintenance needs and waste removal.
  • Assisting in the development of service contract proposals, requirements and specifications; recommends types of support equipment to be purchased, evaluates bid submittals and makes analysis of equipment performance and energy efficiency; prepares and administers the operating budget. Controls and expends annual budget funds designated for buildings, ground care and maintenance.
  • Maintaining documentation pertaining to machine servicing and safety project implementation, including inspection records for TURBOCAM's building related machinery.
  • Safety responsibility includes responsibility for security and fire alarms systems, monthly fire extinguisher, forklift and crane checks, change belts and filters in air conditioners as needed, key control, maintaining a safe work environment in TURBOCAM buildings and grounds, installing safety devices as identified, posting of safety signs, marking and maintaining, easements, general repair and maintenance of safety equipment. Perform other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of college or equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates knowledge of operating budgets.
  • 5-10 years of extensive experience in maintenance with excellent technical knowledge of equipment and buildings, grounds and janitorial services, including operations, maintenance and repair; building construction; electrical systems, building materials and supplies, cranes & hoists, generators and UPS units. Proficient with power tools, hand tools, forklifts. A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Experience working in a manufacturing industry is desired.
  • 3 years' experience in Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Experience with maintenance management software helpful for preventative maintenance and scheduling to maintain accurate machine record keeping (Bigfoot CMMS preferred).
  • Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence, forklift certifiable, able to obtain DOT health card.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner, and request assistance when warranted.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of small places crawl around machinery.
  • Must have range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.
