Staffmark is looking for dedicated individuals to join a thriving fiber manufacturer in Johnson City, TN! As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating melt spinning Extrusion Machines efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. This position involves setting up, operating, and monitoring machines that extrude and form continuous filaments from synthetic materials.

Pay: $17.50 per hour + $1.50/hr. weekly attendance bonus

Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:30am

Job Responsibilities:



  • Record operational data on tags and attach to machines.
  • Clean and maintain extruding and forming machines.
  • Remove the excess or completed filament from machines.
  • Monitor machine operation, control boards, and gauges for malfunctions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.




Requirements: One year of machining experience. Must be mechanically inclined, experience in extrusion or machine operation.
