Position Description
Direct and conduct the development of analyses, preparation of financial and other reports, development and maintenance of computer models/code, rendering of bills, and administration of contracts, etc. Provide informal guidance to junior financial analysts. The Pricing unit is responsible for Authority's cost of service and retail rate design, competitive benchmarking analysis and related special projects. This position will work closely with analysts in related areas such as financial forecast, billing and budget. Must be able to communicate ideas, concepts, and technical information effectively, sharing in an open and direct manner to help others make informed decisions.
Essential Job Tasks:
Prepares the Authority's cost of service (COS) and retail rate design studies. Related responsibilities include the preparation of pricing options for special products/services and developing/maintaining the Authority's retail & wholesale electric rates.Updates and maintains all data required to complete studies and ad hoc analysis.Performs regular and special comparative analyses and other benchmarking activities.Monitors rates and rates-related issues of neighboring utilities and performs basic level analysis.Supports customer service and/or Industrial services with complex customer inquiries and planned presentations to customer groups.Prepares and analyzes projected billing determinants for the Authority's retail and municipal wholesale electric rates to aid in the development of the corporate budget/forecast.Performs research and analysis of regulatory or other issues impacting the electric utility industry.Performs and/or leads special projects & assignments as requested.

Financial Analyst III
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Math + 5 years experience.Ability to apply advanced financial, economic, accounting, mathematical and statistical principles and thorough knowledge of personal computers and/or programming.
Compensation Information:
$82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)
Financial Analyst II
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Math + 2 years experience.Ability to apply advanced financial, economic, accounting, mathematical and statistical principles and thorough knowledge of personal computers and/or programming.
Compensation Information:
$66,390 - $82,980 (min. - mid.)
Financial Analyst I
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Math.Ability to apply advanced financial, economic, accounting, mathematical and statistical principles and thorough knowledge of personal computers and/or programming.
Compensation Information:
$53,400 - $66,730 (min. - mid.)
