Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an organized and friendly individual to join our Customer Experience team. This role will be responsible for coordinating logistics, ensuring import/export compliance, classifying parts, supporting the customers, collaborating with production, customer service, and shipping in a manufacturing facility. An Import/ Export Administrator works with a team to communicate and document processes required for importing and exporting materials in compliance while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detailed, adaptable, a team player and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

Main duties:

• Coordinate logistics between customer, Customer Service, Shipping, and Freight Forwarders
  
  
• Complete daily approval and release of foreign sales
  
  
• Product Classification (HTS)
  
  and Compliance record maintenance
  
  

Communication:

• Liaise with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
  
  
• Audit and control transactions with suppliers, customers, and vendors
  
  

Documentation:

• Process and manage AES & EEI Filings
  
  
• Research, prepare and transact import/export business through creation of documentation, classification of commodities and standard work development
  
  
• Prepare shipping documents for transportation
  
  

Quality Control:

• Familiarize self consistently on compliance and contract/warranty regulations and policies
  
  
• Conduct periodic compliance trainings
  
  
• Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements
  
  

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in international business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related degree, preferred
  
  
• 5+ years' experience in Import and Export, preferred

• Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability

• Proficient computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
