Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an organized and friendly individual to join our Customer Experience team. This role will be responsible for coordinating logistics, ensuring import/export compliance, classifying parts, supporting the customers, collaborating with production, customer service, and shipping in a manufacturing facility. An Import/ Export Administrator works with a team to communicate and document processes required for importing and exporting materials in compliance while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detailed, adaptable, a team player and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Main duties:
- Coordinate logistics between customer, Customer Service, Shipping, and Freight Forwarders
- Complete daily approval and release of foreign sales
- Product Classification (HTS)
and Compliance record maintenance
Communication:
- Liaise with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
- Audit and control transactions with suppliers, customers, and vendors
Documentation:
- Process and manage AES & EEI Filings
- Research, prepare and transact import/export business through creation of documentation, classification of commodities and standard work development
- Prepare shipping documents for transportation
Quality Control:
- Familiarize self consistently on compliance and contract/warranty regulations and policies
- Conduct periodic compliance trainings
- Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in international business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related degree, preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Import and Export, preferred

- Detailed data entry skills
- Proficient computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Customer Focus, highly detail oriented, and adaptive to change
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
- Fully site based
- Climate controlled manufacturing plant
- Protective eyewear and footwear required
