  • Ensure systems comply with quality, performance, timing, and cost objectives.
  • Work with advanced team to develop, define, and package system designs prior to sourcing.

  • Serve as the regional single point of contact for these systems in Mechatronics.

  • Provide input, specifications, technical support, and coaching to Design and Release Engineers (DREs).

  • Define the strategic roadmap for advanced programs.

  • Meet the Voice of Customer (VOC) and translate customer requirements into technical specifications.

  • Lead homologation discussions and establish or update new design guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements and support the global Mechatronics network.

  • Develop technical specifications and testing methods to address lessons learned and implement best practices from previous programs.

  • Develop and maintain core boundary diagrams, interface matrices, parameter diagrams, Design for Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), and Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R).

  • Support system integration and proper function with surrounding components, network communications, and Electronic Control Units (ECUs).

  • Perform benchmarking, competitive analysis, and investigations on new technology.
