We are hiring a Batch Plant Operator/Dispatcher at our Coos Bay, OR operation. In this role, you'll produce and schedule delivery of in-spec ready mix concrete to customers and projects in the south coast market.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.00 - $31.50 DOE

Major Job Responsibilities will include:



  • Produce and batch in-spec concrete for area projects.
  • Dispatch daily trucks for safe and timely delivery of concrete.
  • Manage phones to assist concrete customers with daily orders.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory of raw material to meet plant needs.
  • Complete daily reporting and paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Manage the preventative maintenance schedule and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Help resolve quality or customer issues.
  • Address or escalate personnel issues.
  • Promote a people-first and safe working environment.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • 3 years of prior concrete experience as plant operator, dispatcher, quality control tech or similar experience.
  • Ability to work through problems, prioritize tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Knowledge of DOT hauling and hours of service regulations.
  • Ability to communicate calmly and effectively.
  • Work a flexible schedule with nights and weekends as needed.
  • Comfortable with advanced electronic batching, ticketing, and reporting systems.
