This position will be Remote.

Telos is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization - OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe. A successful candidate should have proven ability to lead, problem solve, and deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Writes, edits, proofreads, and/or provides writing support on non-technical and/or technical documents/deliverables or sections of documents/deliverables, such as technical or user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational specifications, technical data packages, training materials, and programmatic deliverables
• Gathers information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff
• Translates complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications
• Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts
• Conducts quality review of materials
• Coordinates with stakeholders or other experts to develop draft and final copies of documentation while ensuring documents meet editorial and Government specifications while adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
• Follows cataloging systems and maintains records, files, electronic media, and archiving of information for documents and deliverables

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or a Masters and 10+ years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated Technical Writing experience for DoD IT Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Technical Writing experience for Army IT Systems
• DoD 8570 certifications
• US Citizen with a Secret security clearance
• 
  

  Salary: $92,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.Telos offers an excellent compensation package with benefits that include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and 401k.
