Level 2- Has limited expertise in electrical, may have Residential Electrical wiring and no control wiring back ground. Can read basic drawings, can identify certain components in a control panel. Works well with hand tools, meters. Can identify wire gages and colors. May have 1-2 years of working in electrical field. Training is required to improve their skills. Should have a desire to learn. Required to comprehend task at hand and to retain knowledge. Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO 9001, etc.) as well as Kaman Automation policies and procedures. Proficient at installing wire labels and device tags Proficient at all types of FAB shop power tools and there uses etc. Proficient at Reading and understanding tape measures (Metric and Standard) and other types of measuring devices Proficient Reading and identifying colors on wires Confident working with hand tools and all power tools with little guidance Proficient at reading Mechanical and Electrical drawings with minimum assistance Proficient of Reading and identifying wire gauges and colors on all wires Competent at recognizing wire gauges, ampacities and their uses. Minimum Assistance may be required during project builds Identifies hardware components within a control system Proficient at recognizing and installing all types of wire labels and device tags Completely Comprehends Electrical and Mechanical drawings Required to Fabricate entire back plate, Enclosure and wiring of control back panel and enclosure doors Identifying any wiring or drawing errors and reporting back to engineer for correcting Recognizes the difference between stainless steel and painted steel as it pertains to the FAB area and the tools needed to work on these products. |
