Remote but prefer the candidate to be near Atlanta, GA /Nashville, TN / South East Coast. Special considerations would be made in the Dallas-Ft Worth area as well.

Mission:

The focus of the Account Representative role is on growing market share and customer share within an assigned territory, through creating and executing on Customer and Territory Management strategies that support align with Epiroc's Go-To-Market Strategy. Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual and organizational needs and motivations link to goals is essential. Initiative, a competitive drive for sales, and the ability to understand and quickly react to changing organizational environments are critical keys to success.

Customer's organizations, goals, and desired results can quickly change, and as a result this role requires regularly meeting and proactively establishing new relationships with existing and prospective customers in markets where we are represented by indirect channels. Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm are the keys to achieving the goals of this role. The work involves driving toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others. Sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated is the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication and decision-making processes. This role requires a high degree of "selling", whether of ideas, methodology or products in the marketplace. While there is urgency to goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results needs to be shared and effectively delegated when necessary.

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal Protection Equipment may be required in this role. The position is considered Safety Sensitive.

Responsibilities:



  • Achieve market share, profitability, and revenue growth targets in a region where Epiroc is represented by business partners.
  • Align business partner's goals and objectives with Epiroc's products and services by earning "trusted advisor" status with joint-key customer contacts and teams
  • Support the ongoing refinement and execution of Epiroc USA's Go-To-Market strategy by aligning and collaborating with business line managers, product and application specialists and other salespersons and leaders within Epiroc
  • Apply sales best practices in your assigned territory and you gain a clear understanding of the customer's needs and the solutions to satisfy them - Extensive travel may be required
  • Maintain detailed sales forecasts by working closely with business partners to ensure appropriate inventory and service levels for the customers within each of their assigned territories
  • Develop and deliver compelling product and service proposals that support Epiroc's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Competence, Skills, and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree required or the equivalent combination of education/experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' sales and/or customer service experience in an industrial environment; mining and/or construction heavy equipment experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working with private distributors/ indirect sales
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required with a proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Skilled in developing and implementing strategic initiatives
