Job Details Dispatcher (Relief)-Jefferson Health Cherry Hill- Varied Days/Hours needed- 12 Hour shifts. The shifts are 5am-5pm or 1130a-1130pm. Weekend shifts are 7:00am-7:00pmJob Description Job Summary Responsible for overall street operations of vehicles and drivers. Responsible to take transports from emails/phone calls. Prioritize transport by availability, staffing and request urgency. Responsible to dispatch runs to the drivers in a timely and effective manner. Check computer current and future transports for accuracy. Knows where field staff is at all times. Fields telephone calls on multi-line phone system. Communicates problems and issues to supervisors. Assumes the driver's role when necessary. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
