Engineer III

E2 is hiring a Engineer III. The Engineer III should have a thorough knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, practices, and advance engineering principles necessary to perform very complex or unique assignments for a specific discipline, various installations, or services.

This is a Hybrid opportunity and requires Wednesday and Thursday on site.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

Support of the Grid Needs Assessment (GNA) and Distribution Upgrade Projects Report (DUPR) processes: This includes aggregation and quality assurance of grid needs data and planned investments. Support of the GNA/DUPR narrative for the annual CPUC filing.
• Development of process documentation for presentation at external stakeholder review meetings.

Required Skills / Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years of engineering experience.

Desired Skills / Attributes

• Understanding of electric utility grid and the equipment used to build and operate the system.
• Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify trends and outliers.
• Experience with developing documentation to meet compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The salary range for this position is $81,436.16 - $101,795.20. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
