How you'll make an impact:

As our Associate Director of Data Analytics at SiriusXM Connect you will be directly responsible for our data and analytics offerings and services. You will be a key part of our transformational journey to a modernized data-driven company. The data and analytics platform will be the key enablement technology used by our marketing, sales, and financial services to provide near real-time data for analysis and decision making. You will evangelize, teach, and grow a data-driven culture across the business, working with key executives and stakeholders along the way to better understand the needs of the business, as well as to better educate and provide insight and exposure to the opportunities a modern data platform will provide to a business.

What you'll do:

As our Associate Director of Data Analytics at SiriusXM Connect you will take direct ownership of our freshly launched analytics platform. You will work directly with executive and functional leadership across the business to include sales, marketing, business development, finance, our B2B customers and more to ensure delivery of strategic initiatives that will directly impact our bottom line.

Additionally, you will build and develop a team of engineers, analysts and data scientists to continually build and improve upon our data capabilities. You will be directly responsible for building and implementing a long-term strategic vision for ever expanding data capabilities. You will establish and drive the culture across the business for what data is and how we manage it.

What you'll need:

• 10+ years in Software Engineering and/or Data Analytics.
• At least 4 years of experience managing and mentoring software engineering and/or data analytics teams.
• Experience with AWS, Python, & Data Visualization.
• Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both up, down, and laterally across the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate.
• Collaborate with all functions of the company to ensure data needs are addressed and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users.
• Provide leadership and consistency regarding standard processes to handle and answer recurring & ad-hoc reporting requests by different stakeholders.
• Continuously develop and improve procedures to enforce analytics approach that will lead to more strategic/insightful learnings and recommendations and/or workflow improvements.
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop test & learn strategies related to customer acquisition and retention to drive business impact.
• Develop a roadmap for the data and analytics function that clearly defines ownership and responsibility between the central data function and the functional groups.
• Work cross-functionally with executives and high-level stakeholders to understand their problems and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with customer acquisition, churn, LTV, ROI, and re-engagement.
• Agile with the ability to speak and relate to each business function. Can quickly come up to speed and understand support services sales, operations, HR, and all other areas.
• Strong communicator who can take complex ideas and methodologies, and simplify them for non-technical audiences.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
