Job Title: Data Services Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer Location: Block 23 What you'll do: AmeriHome Mortgage, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bank (WAL), is seeking Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a Data Services team responsible for testing and automating full-stack regulatory applications. This role involves participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, debugging and production support. As a member of a highly visible team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of multiple regulatory applications. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as collaboration with various teams across AmeriHome will be a key part of this rol - Design, develop, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing - Perform automation testing for APIs and web applications. Enhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworks. Build and maintain testing tools, mock services to streamline the development process. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in product delivery to ensure alignment and quality. - Analyze test failures, verify fixes, and work to improve code coverage using industry standard tools such as SonarQube, - Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision. - Participate in on-all rotations to address issues, isolate bugs and restore services when needed. - Stay to update to date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in QA automation. What you'll need: Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer since or a related field 5+ years of experience as Test Automation Engineer or QA Engineer. Strong expertise in automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Huloop. Experience with cross-browser testing and supporting applications built with AngularJS and React. Proficiency in testing SOAP and REST web services and familiarity with tools like Postman. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and manual testing processes. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline, including configuration using Azure DevOps (ADO) Proven ability to analyze requirements, create test plans and strategies, execute test cases, generate testing data, report defects. Experience working with Azure cloud solutions is preferred.
