DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Driver License Examiner Assistant at the Bensalem Center, you will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will confidently verify identification, complete application forms, and input information into our online driver's license application software. Your expertise will be essential as you conduct standardized knowledge tests, assessing applicants' understanding of the vehicle code, driving laws, and relevant traffic control devices. Each applicant will undergo a vision screening for visual acuity using a telebinocular instrument, ensuring they meet safety standards. You will also take on additional related duties as needed, showcasing your versatility and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will confidently ensure full compliance with all REAL ID regulations. In addition, you will provide customers with expert information and services regarding the renewal of driver's licenses and identification cards, the issuance of duplicates, out-of-state license transfers, and obtaining a motorcycle license. You will effectively manage inquiries related to Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs), including a thorough understanding of the various restrictions and endorsements associated with commercial licenses and the specific requirements for each. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel and overtime.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:
