What does a Director of Channel Sales do?

As the Director of Channel Sales and reporting to the Global Commercial Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our channel sales strategy, driving growth, and expanding our reach in the travel management industry. Key Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management:


  • Act as the primary liaison for TMC partners, ensuring their needs are met while driving mutual success and growth.


  • Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with existing TMC partners to maximize reseller opportunities.

Channel Sales Growth:


  • Drive increased revenue by identifying and executing opportunities to grow reseller partnerships.


  • Collaborate with internal teams to align reseller strategies with overall sales goals and market trends.

New Partner Development:


  • Identify, prospect, and recruit new TMC partners to join Deem's reseller program.


  • Develop compelling value propositions and onboarding strategies to attract potential partners.

Strategic Planning and Execution:


  • Create and implement channel sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets.


  • Analyze market trends, partner performance, and sales metrics to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.

Training and Enablement:


  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide partners with tools, resources, and training needed to succeed as Deem resellers.


  • Ensure partners are equipped to effectively position and sell Deem's solutions.

Reporting and Insights:


  • Regularly report on partner performance, sales pipeline, and revenue growth.


  • Use data and insights to continuously refine channel strategies.

Who we are looking for in this role:


  • Proven experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management within the corporate travel industry.


  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term strategic partnerships.


  • Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive growth.


  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


  • Experience with SaaS or travel technology solutions is a strong plus

Salary for this role is offering between $115,000 - $150,000 depending on a variety of factors
