Job Overview:
The Tear Down Technician should possess a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble blowers and exhausters according to blueprints. * Work with the Engineering Department and the Quality Assurance Department to troubleshoot and solve problems. * Apply standard work practices. * Follow all safety rules, environmental regulating procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate. * Adhere to 6s (5s) principles, clean, organize, and properly store all equipment. * Operate Crane and Fork Truck to move equipment and parts (training and certification provided by the company). * Operate machinery and hand tools as necessary.
Requirements:
* At least 1+ (or more years) of experience reading and interpreting blueprints. * At least 1+ (or more years) of assembly experience * Must be able to perform repetitive lifting/carrying of up to 20 lbs.
Core Competencies:
* Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.) * Proven track record of delivering high-quality assembly work, demonstrating attention to detail and adherence to standards.
Preferences:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
* This position will be based 100% onsite at our St. Peters, Missouri facility
