Job Summary:

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for safe and efficient operationof NWTF employees. The Plant Supervisor will communicate with the facility manager, material handlers, and branch managers to ensure proper unloading, routing, and processing of incoming drums, totes, containerized and/or palletized material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Accurately record and produce all production, personnel, and safety reports as required.
  • Maintains Facility compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental/regulatory requirements.
  • Work with branch personnel to ensure on-time delivery of necessary sales and service supplies.
  • Responsible for the unloading and loading of wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations.
  • Load, unload, and sort: solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local regulations/rules.
  • Operate a fork truck with attachments.
  • Delivers training and counseling to employees to promote personal and employment growth.
  • Assists in various job capacities to support efficient Facility operations, when necessary.
  • Responsible for keeping work areas, walls, and floor in a clean and safe condition.
  • Utilize knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA, and permit regulations.
  • Understand HCC Coding and labeling systems to handle and manage containers.
  • Position handles hazardous materials and will often require use of PPE: Boots, Gloves, Suits, Eye/Ear Protection and Respirator.
  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner with any prescribed safety equipment required by company policy.

Education, Certificates, Licenses:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record (required for forklift operation and/or operation of motorized equipment).


Must be willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations. All applicants must pass the company paid physical exam including substance abuse screening.
