Description We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for a range of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: Receiving Goods: * Unload incoming shipments and verify the quantity and quality of goods received. * Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies. * Document and enter goods into the inventory system. Inventory Management: * Organize and store products in designated areas according to warehouse layout. * Perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are accurate. * Assist with stock rotation to avoid outdated or expired products. Order Picking and Packing: * Retrieve and prepare customer orders based on job assignment. * Ensure the accuracy of picked items, including checking labels and quantities. * Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment. Shipping: * Prepare and label outgoing shipments based on customer orders. * Ensure that all shipments meet company and customer requirements. Safety and Housekeeping: * Follow all warehouse safety protocols and wear appropriate safety gear. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards. * Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely. Collaboration: * Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet daily operational goals. * Communicate effectively regarding inventory levels, order progress, and any issues.
