Asphalt Operator

We are looking for an ASPHALT OPERATOR to join our Eunice, LA plant. As an Asphalt Operator with Contech you will contribute to America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Obtains pipe on dolly or with forklift/crane. Operates various crane controls to hook materials to be dipped, moved to tank and then to paving rack or cooling area.
• Inspects asphalt coating for quality and coolness and repositions pipe on paving rack for paving.
• Pours or pumps asphalt into pipe to cover paving area and moves pipe to tank for second coat and final pavement if necessary.
• Completes production/quality control and post shift daily paperwork
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

About You

We Require:

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
