This position will be in Adrian Lee's group in the Physics Department of UC Berkeley. The group focuses on observations of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) research specifically focused on CMB anisotropies. The successful candidate will work to analyze science data and identify, model, simulate and mitigate important instrumental effects that limit our ability to extract cosmology results from Simons Observatory data. They will also contribute to efforts to account for these effects in automated data reduction processes.
