Position description The Department of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Postdoctoral researcher in the area of cosmic microwave background experiment. This position will be in Adrian Lee's group in the Physics Department of UC Berkeley. The group focuses on observations of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) research specifically focused on CMB anisotropies. The successful candidate will work to analyze science data and identify, model, simulate and mitigate important instrumental effects that limit our ability to extract cosmology results from Simons Observatory data. They will also contribute to efforts to account for these effects in automated data reduction processes. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) Candidates must have obtained their Ph.D. or equivalent international degree by the start date of the job. Candidates should have no more than three years of previous postdoctoral experience by the start date.
