Position Summary:

Incredible career opportunity for an entrepreneurial marcom professional to help build a high-performing marketing operation in a fast-growing >$1B industrial services company that delivers power management, renewables, and electro-mechanical solutions to mining, wind, hydro, nuclear, data centers, and dozens of other industries in North America, the UK, and Caribbean.

IPS is seeking a marcom professional to lead our corporate marketing & creative services team. This role will help drive IPS's growth through strategic planning, brand management, and internal communications. You'll collaborate across teams to create and execute marcom plans, foster employee engagement, and support acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the marketing & creative services team.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to support marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee IPS's brand strategy and internal communications to boost market awareness and employee engagement.
  • Manage content production, including case studies and technical documentation.
  • Implement best practices to improve processes and drive business results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • 7-10 years of corporate marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions communication support.
  • Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to promote a positive work environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
  • Focused on process and standardization to improve efficiency using best practices like Lean and Pragmatic Marketing.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and business case creation.
  • Skilled in managing vendors and negotiating with third parties.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions with effective communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to make data-driven decisions and solve problems quickly.
  • Familiar with business growth strategies from The Founder's Mentality book.
