A Medical graft Technician serves as a processing team member, ensuring safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation. A Processing Technician/ Medical Graft Technician will:
- Ensure allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner.
- In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order.
- Traditional Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, band saws, drills, scissors, scalpels.
- Specialty Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, skin meshers, TMI bone grinding equipment and vacuum sealers.
- Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes with regard to allograft tissue manufacturing.
- Assist in orientation and training of new employees as assigned.
- Complete assigned tasks in the processing area in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
