Description
A Brief Overview Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. The BERT RN goal is a preventative measure with our behavioral population in identifying and resolving issues to prevent Code Violets, dissatisfaction of care, and early identification of contributing factors that may lead to agitation. They would response to Code Violets and be responsible for communication, identification of issues to be resolved, and follow up. The position will require a skill set in medical as well as behavioral health nursing, familiarity with de-escalation and communication skills as well as identification of effective problem solving and working within various teams. The goal is to build the team for 24 hour coverage in all areas of the hospital at CMC and will be an innovative and autonomous position facilitating evidenced based practice and skill set.
