What You'll Do Independently create detailed, accurate placing rebar drawings and bar list to facilitate field placement and project scheduling Verify drawings, specifications, addenda's and information from contract documents Work with job site and shop personnel to determine requirements for both detailing and delivery of material Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract Communicate with ironworkers, customers and A/E on all questions relating to projects including writing of RFI's Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time What You'll Need Minimum 4 years of rebar detailing experience utilizing RebarCAD or MicroStation software Experience detailing in BIM a plus Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Efficient time management skills Effective planning/organization Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Satisfactory completion of Computer Aided Design software course a plus We are CMC, a Fortune500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
