Space Planning Contractor needed for a contract role in Palm Bay, FL Job Description: Develop and implement space planning strategies that accommodate current and future organizational needs.- Analyze space requirements and provide solutions to maximize the use of physical resources. Coordinate with department heads and management to understand departmental space needs. Manage and update space management databases and CAD drawings. Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces. Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with facilities, IT, and security teams to ensure a cohesive work environment. Manage relocations, renovations, and workspace adjustments. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. Assist in the preparation of capital budgeting for space-related expenditures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field In lieu of degree will consider 10+ years or relative growth experience in Space Planning Minimum of 3 years of experience in space planning or facilities management. Proficiency in CAD software and space planning tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and health and safety standards. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in Facilities Management or related field. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the pay rate for this role is $45/hr-$60/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
