Overview
The State Of Vermont Agency Of Digital Services is looking for a highly skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID to lead our SharePoint team. This role involves overseeing the planning, development, and execution of SharePoint initiatives, managing server workloads, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff. This is a supervisory position. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive work environment, ensure compliance with governance and security policies, and act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID. Work is performed in a computer environment involving considerable interaction with other IT staff and department/agency staff. Overtime is often necessary to minimize impact to the enterprise due to IT Systems upgrades and/or outages as well as meeting IT System goals and deadlines. Some travel may be involved, for which private means of transportation may be required. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science AND three (3) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. OR Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND five (5) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. OR Eight (8) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. Preferred Qualifications
