Location: Remote

Annual Compensation: $125,000 - 150,000

Under general direction responsible for cloud solution implementation and maintenance. This individual will provide technical skills in implementing and operationalizing GMR's Azure (hybrid) cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our DevOps and security teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that meets our business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, deployment and maintenance of cloud solutions.
  • Monitor cloud solutions for performance and proper resource provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud related and hybrid environment issues.
  • Implement and maintain security guardrails consistent with GMR policies and guidance to maintain contractual compliance.
  • Work with cloud security team and resource owners to identify and remediate issues reported by Crowdstrike, Tenable and Defender for Cloud.
  • Collaborate with developers and internal customers on best practices for implementation of solutions and automation in cloud/hybrid environments.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure documentation related to cloud services and solutions.
  • Work with cloud teams to optimize cloud performance and cost.

Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Azure certification (AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-500) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Experience with cloud/hybrid migrations.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices related to health care industry or government contract cloud implementations.
  • Proficient in scripting and Azure automation.
  • Familiarity with landing zone a plus.
  • Multi-cloud experience a plus.
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling.
