Tasks & Responsibilities

Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.

Supports and adheres to all TC Transcontinental procedures and protocols.

Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of the cleaning area, bring up to standards and sustain improvements.

Daily cleaning and building of parts, including but not limited to, chambers (with all their components), pans, lids, mixers, filters, etc., utilizing the parts washer.

Create and follow a rotating schedule to clean anilox through laser cleaner, increasing life expectancy and improving quality of print. Identify wore anilox to be sent for resurfacing.

Develop audits and rotating schedules to rebuild chambers.

Schedule and conduct PM for parts washer, anilox laser cleaner, distiller (solvent recycling).

Assist on changeovers and complete other duties assigned.

Maintains all aspects of housekeeping according to plant policies and procedures.

Provides feedback to the shift lead and supervisor on equipment or production issues.

Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met.

Conduct monthly safety requirements BOP's. 2 each month.

Ensures work area is kept clean according to facility/corporate standards.

Feedback quality problems to the production team and find a solution to improve quality level.

Enforces all plant and department safety rules.

Adhere to all GMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates.

Other duties as instructed by Supervisor or Lead

Position requires flexibility to include shift changes, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required.

Must have good attendance and punctuality.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or GED required.

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is consistently standing for up to 8 hours. Walking, climbing, stooping, or kneeling, reaching with arms and hands.

The manufacturing work environment is loud, with varying temperatures, the production floor is not temperature controlled.

The incumbent will work with inks and solvents with strong odors and other chemicals as part of the manufacturing process.

May be required to lift-up to 50 lbs. but also encouraged to team lift, as necessary.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when in manufacturing and warehouse areas.
