We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Division Supervisor in the Department of Surgery. In this role, you will support two Division Chiefs, faculty members, and the associate administrator while overseeing the administrative operations of the units. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders is essential to success in this role. The key responsibilities of the Division Supervisor are as follows: -Administrative Management - track & manage PTO, manage provider schedules, support academic & research activities, oversee credentialing & licensure processes, coordinate division and department chair meetings, reporting, assist with program development, etc. -ACGME Fellowship Operations - communication & scheduling with applicants, complete appointment checklists, maintain applicant records, etc. -Other Duties - assist with faculty & staff recruitment, plan and coordinate events and conferences for the division, run monthly transaction reports and others, etc. The Division Supervisor supervises the divisional operations within the Department of Surgery. The Division Supervisor provides coordination of policies and procedures in support of teaching, research and clinical programs. The Division Supervisor is responsible for the daily business affairs, funds and resources of the Division. This position works under the direction and guidance of the Administrator, Associate Administrator, and the Divisional Chair. The Division Supervisor represents the Division the School of Medicine, MCV Physicians and the VCU Health System to provide essential communication and networking for the effective functioning of these entities.
