The Agent Tools design team at Spectrum creates innovative applications for our ~70,000 frontline agents who are the face of our company. Our team designs software to help agents provide exceptional customer service through call centers, truck rolls, and in-store experiences. As a Sr. Product Designer - Agent Tools, you will design products and features that our frontline employees use daily to serve our customers. Your role involves crafting intuitive solutions that improve handle times, reduce cognitive load, and guide agents through complex processes. You will also facilitate alignment among development, product, architecture, sales, and marketing teams on multi-phased solutions. As the subject matter expert, you will be responsible for leading the design of a specific area within the application ecosystem. Demonstrating the ability to balance business, development, and design priorities to craft solutions that align to current constraints and scale into the future will be a key characteristic of the successful applicant.

WHAT OUR SR PRODUCT DESIGNERS ENJOY MOST

• Design application features and components to support product requirements and business initiatives.
• Apply user-centered design (UCD) processes to digital applications from concept to launch.
• Develop information architecture and wireframes that align with business goals and ensure a positive user experience.
• Conduct design and wireframe reviews and facilitate team design sessions to align and drive solutions across our team and its partner teams.
• Collaborate with UX research, content designers, product team, and development team to understand expectations and align on priorities and deliverables.
• Work with the local design systems team and peer design teams to mature the local design system dedicated to supporting frontline employees.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Digital design experience - 5+
• Experience with basic prototyping and interface design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Axure, etc.) - 2
• Experience with project estimation
• Experience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/Related Field, or equivalent real world experience

Skills:

• Demonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
• Demonstrates effective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
• Demonstrates strong design thinking skills through creation of UX deliverables such as user flow diagrams and wireframes that solves the design problem by meeting both the business goals and ensures a positive customer experience
• In-depth understanding of UX best practices
• Demonstrated ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
• In-depth understanding of platform specific nomenclature
• Experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications

Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to demonstrate UI and UX design skills via portfolio
• Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to fully engage and collaborate with team
