Position Function |
Provide a secure environment for people living in university residential areas;
Provide supervision for part-time night security staff specialists. Assist in supervision of night student staff. Provide assistance with night staff employee training and manuals. Support the AD for Care and Conduct in case management follow-up and reporting. |
Minimum Education |
Associates degree or equivalent. |
Minimum Experience |
At least one year of experience in a service role, security role, or role that provides customer service/support to front-line individuals, supervisory experience. |

Preferred Education |
Additional education in a security related field. |
Preferred Experience |
At least one year of supervisory experience, experience working with college students a plus. Familiarity with card access, fire or security systems, and/or general facilities knowledge or experience a plus. |

Provide a secure living environment for people living in university residential areas. Work with part-time night staff security specialists
and student night staff who are checking in residents and guests during the overnight hours. This includes ensuring student staff arrive on time for their shift, are properly following night security protocols, and responding to student/part-time staff reports questions and concerns.

Support the night shift team in conducting regular fire extinguisher checks, camera system checks, and floor call boxes. Reporting any outstanding issues to the appropriate team members for resolution. Work with the team to conduct regular, year-round door checks and building walk-throughs. Assist in providing breaks to team members as needed. |
