Position Overview

This role can be based remotely in the US or in one of our Vantage operating locations in Europe.

We are seeking a highly skilled and multifaceted Procurement Analytics Leader to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the procurement function, using advanced analytics, market insights, and business intelligence to optimize sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and cost management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes, a passion for data analytics, and experience with KPI reporting to advise strategic decisions.

Essential Job Functions

Lead Procurement Analytics Strategy:

  • Develop and implement analytics strategies that align with overall procurement goals, focusing on cost reduction, process efficiency, and supplier performance optimization.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Lead all aspects of the collection, cleaning, and analysis of procurement data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key metrics, such as supplier performance, spend analysis, and savings opportunities.

KPI Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive KPI reports and dashboards, monitoring key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier delivery performance, contract compliance), and providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

Advanced Reporting & Dashboards:

  • Create and maintain dynamic, visually engaging reports and dashboards to provide real-time access to procurement performance for leadership and stakeholders.

Continuous Process Improvement:

  • Identify and drive continuous improvements in procurement processes using data analysis and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Partner with procurement, finance, operations, and IT teams to align data analytics initiatives with business objectives and improve decision-making across departments.

Supplier and Market Insights:

  • Conduct detailed market and supplier analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, helping to inform strategic sourcing decisions and negotiations.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and standard methodologies in procurement analytics and data science to continuously improve the team's capabilities and efficiency.

Additional Duties:

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or analytics, with a proven track record of driving insights through data and reporting.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI), with experience in procurement-specific software and systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, OneTrust).

  • Strong expertise in spend analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and cost modeling, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Extensive experience in crafting, managing, and reporting on procurement KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving accountability across the procurement function.

  • Ability to see the big picture, aligning procurement analytics with overall business strategy, and inspiring change through data-driven recommendations.

  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong critical thinking skills, with a focus on data-driven solutions to address procurement challenges.

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 15% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
