The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Division of Infectious Diseases clinical research unit is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant with strong communication skills to support research activities related to HIV testing and HIV education in the dental setting. The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with investigators and clinicians from Infectious Disease, Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, and Dentistry to evaluate the acceptability and feasibility of a new initiative to provide HIV prevention services and linkage to HIV prevention and care at multiple dental sites in the NYP system. The Research Assistant must feel comfortable working independently as well as with others in a clinical research setting. The Research Assistant will work under the general supervision of the principal investigator and project director. Assignments are routine, but may include duties of a more complicated nature.
