The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing packaging solutions for Client/Dynetic's products. This role will ensure that packaging meets functional, cost, and environmental sustainability requirements while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Packaging Design & Development:

o Design innovative packaging solutions that protect products during transportation, storage, and use.

o Create prototypes and conduct performance testing to evaluate design effectiveness.

* Material Selection:

o Research and select appropriate packaging materials based on durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

o Partner with suppliers to ensure material compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

* Sustainability Initiatives:

o Develop environmentally friendly packaging solutions that align with corporate sustainability goals.

o Evaluate packaging lifecycle impacts and recommend improvements.

* Process Improvement:

o Optimize packaging processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in production and logistics.

o Analyze and resolve packaging-related issues in the supply chain.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work with Product Development and Marketing teams to align packaging designs with branding and product functionality.

o Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective for mass production.

* Compliance and Standards:

o Ensure all packaging meets industry standards and regulatory requirements, including safety and labeling guidelines.

Skills:

* Proficiency in CAD software and packaging-specific tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks).

* Strong understanding of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

* Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards for packaging.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with sustainability certifications or lifecycle assessments (e.g., ISO 14040/44).

* Familiarity with automation and machinery used in packaging processes
