Description
Pricing and Data Analyst Reports to: Senior Director of Merchandising Supervises: N/A Summary Statement: The Pricing and Data Analyst will analyze, develop, and implement pricing strategies that align with the organization's financial and mission-driven goals. The role will also involve collecting, managing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights to the various business units that support product development/additional opportunities and key commodity product life cycle decisions. Essential Job Functions
- Analyze costs, demand, and competitive landscape to develop equitable and sustainable pricing models, monitoring and adjusting pricing strategies based on organizational needs.
- Analyze category pricing data in key government market sectors to ensure we remain market competitive and maximize our margin opportunities.
- Collaborate with various IFB business units to define key pricing models that support business unit initiatives as well as to align pricing and data strategies with organizational goals, providing recommendations for resource allocation based on data findings.
- Focus on our D365 ERP data cleansing requirement by exporting current data points, analyze information, update/cleanse by defined guidelines for business units, then re-entry/populating into ERP system.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making business units and/or senior leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Optimize data collection methods and systems to ensure data integrity.
- Recommend improvements to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Must be proficient in data tools such as Excel.
- Must have experience with financial modeling, cost analysis, and forecasting.
- Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to understand the AbilityOne Base Supply Center Program, government procurement list pricing processes, and government marketplace pricing (Ex: GSA MAS schedules).
- Must have a passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to the organization's mission.
Education and Work Experience
- A bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, data analytics, business, or a related field is required.
- 2-4 years' experience in pricing analysis, data analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is required.
- Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP system is preferred.
- An advanced degree or certification in data analysis or a related field is preferred.
